Ligos’ management team members are a group of visionary thinkers and video industry veterans with a proven ability to bring technology to market.

Mark Koziol, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Koziol currently serves as the President and CEO of Ligos. He is responsible for providing Ligos’ growth strategy and for the development and evolution of the overall business and daily operations. Mr. Koziol has over 25 years of sales, marketing, and engineering experience, working within a number of highly innovative companies in the computer industry including SanDisk Corporation, StreamLogic Corporation, Memorex Telex, and Unisys Corporation. Mr. Koziol received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from California State University, San Jose.

Richard Cowart, Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Cowart is a co-founder of Ligos and currently serves as CTO and Vice President of Engineering. He is responsible for driving the innovation and implementation of Ligos’ technology and products. He has been a technology innovator in digital video and multimedia since 1991. His background includes over 25 years of experience in the design and development of computer software applications. Prior to joining Ligos, Richard was the President, CEO, and founder of Integrated Data Systems (IDS), a leading software and hardware development service firm with several patents to their credit.

Hans-Peter Riecken, Vice President of Sales
Mr. Riecken currently serves as the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for managing and directing the Ligos sales force. Mr. Riecken has over 15 years of worldwide experience in software and hardware technology, digital video, OEM sales, the VAR channel and direct response sales. He comes to Ligos after spending several years with Logitech, where he was responsible for worldwide OEM and VAR sales of digital cameras. Before joining Logitech, Mr. Riecken served as Vice President at Ibex, a manufacturer of fax-on-demand software. Mr. Riecken received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Eugene Mui, Vice President of Finance
Mr. Mui currently serves as Vice President of Finance and is primarily responsible for the company’s financial functions and planning. Prior to joining Ligos, he was with iManage, a leading provider of e-business content and collaboration software. Previously, he also held senior-level financial management and operating positions at a number of public and privately held companies. Mr. Mui, a certified public accountant, received his BS degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from University of California, Davis. He is also a certified management accountant.
