Ligos Corporation Welcomes John Dixon as New Vice President of Sales

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - (October 30, 2008): Ligos Corporation, a leading worldwide provider of platforms for advanced video processing, announces cable and telco industry veteran John Dixon has joined its management team as vice president of sales. Mr. Dixon brings 20 years of Sales and Relationship Management experience to Ligos, with key expertise in digital television headend systems, interactive television and middleware, and telco network technologies.

Mr. Dixon will be heading Ligos’ efforts to aggressively expand the market share for its premier product, the MediaRig® Mosaic system for enhanced interactive program guides. Mosaic is the most widely deployed video-rich navigation system of its kind, allowing multichannel operators worldwide to provide tiled, video montage channels for program guides, premium channel gateways, interactive advertising, “event” television and more to their subscribers.

Before joining Ligos, Mr. Dixon led Sales & Business Development for Digital Multimedia Technologies (DMT), in Los Altos, CA. Prior to that, he headed the first U.S. subsidiary of Osmosys, Inc., a world leading provider of OCAP and Open Standard Middleware solutions. Earlier in his professional career, he founded Video Solutions, served as Executive Sales Director at OpenTV, and was Asia/Pacific and North America Sales Director at DiviCom (now Harmonic Inc.). Mr. Dixon also led sales teams at GTE Spacenet and served in both the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, where he held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Mr. Dixon holds an MBA from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a B.S. from Kansas
State University.
